If you and your partner have been trying to conceive for some time without the result you were hoping for, it’s common to start feeling stressed, let down or even ambivalent about moving forward.
The very good news is you have options.
At Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT), we combine modern medicine, safe and effective therapies, and highly skilled medical professionals to help you achieve the family that you are hoping for.
At RMACT, you’ll know you are in excellent hands. To ensure you are appropriately covered, first check with your insurance carrier to determine if you need a referral from your OB-GYN or primary care practitioner. Then contact us here to schedule a new patient appointment at one of our fertility treatment centers.
Just as every family is different, so are the fertility treatment options that may be right for you and your partner. We will work with you to determine the specific treatment paths that will lead to your family building goals.
Nutrition Program
The fertility nutrition program offers an individual consultation that will provide education and strategies on how to optimize your health for conception and pregnancy.
-Specialized Nutritional Care for those patients with specific health and dietary needs.
Further Testing
If your physician feels your medical history warrants it you may be asked to have additional testing performed.
Semen Analysis
All male patients will be required to have a semen analysis to determine motility and sperm count.
IUI
Intrauterine insemination is a form of artificial insemination that involves placing a concentrated semen sample in your uterine cavity to improve chances of conception.
IVF
During in vitro fertilization, eggs are removed from your body and combined with sperm in the laboratory to create embryos, which are then transferred back into your uterus.
Surgery
Sometimes surgery is necessary to optimize your chances of conception. Same-day, office-based surgery is another treatment option available at RMACT.
Egg Donation
If your testing results determine that you will be unable to conceive with your own eggs, it will be recommended that you explore our egg donation program. RMACT has an active egg donation program as well as relationships with several reputable egg donor agencies to assist you through the process.
Gestational Carriers/Surrogates
For those patients who are unable to successfully carry their baby to term, RMACT’s Third Party Program team members will help you find a surrogate and guide you through the multi-step process.
Each of our patients is paired with a RMACT financial representative who uses his or her expansive knowledge of medical insurance plans, benefit qualifications for fertility coverage and healthcare financing programs to help make fertility treatment as affordable as possible. Their goal is to find solutions while alleviating some of the stress associated with the finances of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART). We also offer Opportunity Plans that include treatment, procedures, and medications at a fixed rate. Your financial services representative will also discuss with you any additional outside financing options.
