RMACT’s equal visitation policy states that patients have the right to designate a support person of their choosing including a “same sex partner”. We believe this helps to alleviate LGBTQ-specific worries about equal visitation rights.
In support of each patient’s rights, RMACT allows patients to bring support persons to appointments and procedures that include but are not limited to a spouse, civil union partner, domestic partner (including a same sex partner), another family member or friend.
Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut’s does not restrict visitors or support persons based on race, color, sex, national origin, disability, age, religion, marital status, citizenship, gender identity, gender expression, sexual expression and/or other legally protected classification.
