Fertile Yoga – Free and Open to All
Fertile Yoga was founded and developed eight years ago a year after I arrived at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT). When I was trying to conceive and in fertility treatment over two decades ago, yoga saved my sanity.
My yoga practice kept me able to go for fertility treatment even when I was discouraged. Yoga kept me able to go for treatment when I was convinced it would fail. I wanted to share what I experienced with other people who were trying to conceive and having those feelings of discouragement and disappointment themselves.
Fertile Yoga & Infertility Treatment
Fertile Yoga is offered three times a week, once in Trumbull, once in Norwalk and once in Bethel. It is a gentle, restorative practice that focuses on asanas (physical poses) that are discussed and reviewed with the five board certified Reproductive Endocrinologists (fertility specialists) at RMACT. Fertile Yoga is a practice that is designed specifically with fertility treatment in mind; accommodating the physiological stresses that medications, regular appointments and procedures can create.
Fertile Yoga also focuses on the mind/body connection with an emphasis on guided meditation, seeing ourselves as people and not just walking infertility diagnoses.
Infertility and fertility treatment can be an exciting venture, those steps towards building your family. They can also be exhausting and demanding.
Come give yourself a well deserved mini-vacation. Fertile Yoga is free, open to the public, calorie-free, caffeine-free, alcohol-free, with only positive side effects.
