PathtoFertility Changes in the New Year

fertility support in the new yearWe will celebrate the end of 2014 tonight and welcome in 2015.

For PathtoFertility, there will be big changes in the New Year. A new look, a new way to function. Guest writers from all different fields. All very exciting changes, a growing up of sorts. We are looking forward to rolling it out and seeing your reactions.

One change that is occurring right now is that we are losing an important team member. Cara Murray has been one of my most important partners on the PathtoFertility from the beginning. I write and she very quietly makes the blog look professional, appropriate and beautiful. She has been my sounding board and my cheerleader for three years and is moving on to a different type of job. She will do well there, of course, because she is a dedicated, compassionate, highly skilled writer, editor and social media rock star. Yes, Cara, you are a rock star. I will miss you very much. You always knew when I needed a phone call or email to reassure me that, “no, this blog is not too far over the edge; it’s perfect”. I will miss your quiet presence very much and wish you all the luck, happiness, contentment and professional achievement that you more than deserve.

A saving grace? That Laura O’Reilly from Carbonfoot is taking over for Cara. Carbonfoot takes care of our digital, web and social media needs and they are phenomenal. A big thank you is more than overdue to that whole team. If Cara has to leave, then how lucky do I feel to have Laura stepping in to take her place to work with me. Very lucky indeed.

CT Fertility Support Continues at RMA

RMACT is a very special place. For our patients, it’s our goal to provide the best: excellent medical and clinical care; the newest high technology lab and procedures; a team approach that includes a RMACT patient navigator, financial consultant and fertility nurse; five board certified reproductive endocrinologists; four easily accessible locations; our Integrated and Fertility Wellness (IFW) program (acupuncture, nutrition, mental health support, peer support, Fertile Yoga, seminars, online-patient portal); and more. More includes the award winning CCS (Comprehensive Chromosomal Screening) and pregnancy rates that are among the highest in the tri-state area.

RMACT is also a special place for our team members. For me, I can only say that the ways in which RMACT conducts business, makes decisions and takes care of all of us is what I would wish for all employees anywhere to enjoy.  Every day I know that I am a valued member of our team, because I am treated that way. With respect and courtesy, yes, as well as with affection and appreciation.

So big changes in the New Year for RMACT as we continue to make iPark our new home, right around the corner from our offices of twelve years. This move gives us the opportunity to expand and offer even more to our patients.

And some things will not change.

RMACT will continue to offer the finest fertility treatment. We will continue to provide our patients with the support that they need and deserve to become pregnant. We will continue to treat our patients like whole human beings and not walking infertility diagnoses.

We will continue to offer hope.

PathtoFertility will be here too. With you every step of the way.

Happy New Year everyone.
