Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) Opportunity Plan

The Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) Opportunity Plan from RMA of Connecticut (RMACT) is the only all-inclusive Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) treatment plan in the Tri-State Connecticut Region that includes cycle medications.

Patients who were previously treated with in vitro fertilization (IVF) often have frozen embryos. These frozen embryos can be used to continue family building. To help make this option available to as many patients as possible, RMACT offers The Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) Opportunity Plan. This unique payment plan is available exclusively to RMACT patients who do not have insurance coverage for their fertility treatments.

How The FET Opportunity Plan Works

Patients who are eligible for The FET Opportunity Plan at RMACT will pay an inclusive total of $5,300 for one frozen embryo transfer (FET). This includes:

  • Initial baseline blood work and ultrasound to start your cycle
  • Cycle medications
  • As many in-cycle monitoring appointments as your cycle requires (blood work and ultrasounds during morning monitoring hours)
  • All laboratory procedures
  • Embryo transfer
Patient financing plans offered by some fertility centers try to reduce costs in many ways, such as not including medications in their plan, or by not including all laboratory fees that are required. Our plan treats each and every patient with the highest quality medical care and services including optimal doses of all medications to achieve a successful pregnancy.

What is NOT included in RMACT’s FET Opportunity Plan:

  • All costs associated with the initial fertility work-up, including: Checklist blood work including any required follow-up testing or Uterine evaluation (HSG, SIS/SHG or hysteroscopy)
  • Any outside monitoring
  • Pregnancy testing at the conclusion of the cycle
  • Any required medical treatment subsequent to your FET cycle such as a miscarriage, biochemical pregnancy or an ectopic pregnancy.

Important Details regarding refunds:

You can withdraw from The FET Opportunity Plan at any time.

  • If you withdraw from the program prior to receiving your medications, you will receive a full refund.
  • If you withdraw after receiving your medications you will be refunded $2,250.
  • If your cycle is cancelled after you start medications but prior to your embryo transfer due to a medical reason you will receive a refund of $2,750.
  • If your embryos are thawed and you do not have a transfer you will receive a refund of $1,350.
