The Elective Single Embryo Transfer (eSET) Opportunity Plan from RMA of Connecticut (RMACT) is the only all-inclusive IVF treatment plan in the Tri-State Connecticut Region that includes cycle medications. Patients who want to have a baby are sometimes treated with in vitro fertilization (IVF). In many cases, they want to reduce the risk of having twins and choose to have only one embryo transferred at a time. Multiple gestations in pregnancy is the single biggest health risk to both mother and child associated with in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures. The elective transfer of a single embryo (eSET) is the most effective way to reduce the risk of multiple gestations. At RMACT, we can transfer only one embryo at a time in select patients and still maintain excellent pregnancy rates due to the quality of our IVF program.
To help make this option available to as many patients as possible, RMA of Connecticut offers The Elective Single Embryo Transfer (eSET) Opportunity Plan. This unique payment plan is available exclusively to RMACT patients who do not have insurance coverage for their fertility treatments.
The eSET Opportunity Plan provides participating patients with two chances of success while transferring one embryo at a time. The first eSET is a fresh single embryo transfer. In the event the fresh transfer does not result in a live birth, a subsequent frozen embryo transfer cycle (FET) is included in this Plan.
Patients who choose The eSET Opportunity Plan at RMACT are treated by our outstanding team of physicians, nurses and other specially trained patient care professionals.
