#ReadySetGo

September is officially here, bringing with it a month full of transition. Not only do we say goodbye to the warm summer months, but we welcome the cooler fall season, with the leaves starting to change colors and school back in session. If you’re pursuing fertility treatment, you may also be transitioning from one stage of your journey to the next. Since we helped you lay the groundwork for your path to fertility success last month, this month we hope to help you say #ReadySetGo, moving into the most appropriate fertility treatment protocol. Regardless of what stage of the fertility process you’re in, we’ll help you with your next step (ready), have what you need to move forward (set), and decipher what steps you need to take to get there (go). Join us all month long as we share tips to help you get to a place in your journey where you can say with confidence, and maybe even a bit of excitement, #ReadySetGo!

Beyond Barriers: Fertility and Women of Color

Facebook Video

Saturday, September 15 at 10:00 am | Tell us you're coming!

RMACT is honored to announce our newest series, Beyond Barriers: Fertility and Women of Color, to unpack the conversation about how women of color (all backgrounds) see their own fertility: how they’re brought up to think of fertility and how society informs them about fertility. Launching on September 15th, in recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month, join Angela Rojas, RMACT’s Patient Services Manager, and Jessie Hernandez, RMACT’s Manager of Medical and Professional Staff, as they start the conversation by talking about the importance of this month and the connection to the larger series on women, color, and fertility. We know it’s a touchy subject and we’re taking it on, in a respectful way. Don’t forget to check out RMACT’s blog, Path to Fertility, for various blog topics and guest writers on the subject.

PCOS Perspectives

Facebook Live Event

Tuesday, September 18 at 7:00 pm| Tell us you're coming!

PCOS is the most common cause of infertility (a ecting 5-10%
of women of reproductive age) besides age. It is also a complex metabolic and endocrine condition that will affect women in many aspects of their health for their entire lives. RMACT will be recognizing September as PCOS Awareness Month by bringing you experts in the field. We are excited to have Ashley Levinson, PCOSGurl; Diana D’Amelio, RMACT’s Physician Assistant; and Monica Moore, APRN of Fertile Health, join us for an informative discussion about this condition. With Lisa Rosenthal, RMACT’s Patient Advocate as the moderator, these dynamic women will dive into the medical and psycho-social aspects of PCOS, sharing ways to bring this challenging condition to the forefront of conversations.
