Dr. Victoria Ryan earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Boston University, her Master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University and her Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and her Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
She studied herbal medicine with Andrew Gamble, master herbalist and author, and was trained in mind-body work for fertility by Alice Domar, Ph.D. of Harvard Medical School and Boston IVF. Dr. Ryan is also passionate about educating her clients regarding food as medicine.
Dr. Ryan is licensed to practice acupuncture in the states of CT and NY. From 2006 to 2011, she ran a successful practice in Manhattan, dedicated to fertility and gynecological wellness, before joining the staff of Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, CT. In 2012, she was appointed to Greenwich Hospital's medical staff as an acupuncturist. Dr. Ryan left Greenwich Hospital in 2016 to pursue private practice.
Dr. Ryan's unique combination of education and experience affords her the opportunity to provide a holistic approach to wellness: treating body, mind and spirit. She is also able to effectively address the emotional aspects behind common concerns that may exacerbate conditions or impede healing by integrating a behavioral health component to physical care. She is dedicated to empowering all of her clients to feel better and stronger and is passionate about helping them reach their fertility and wellness goals.
