Secondary Infertility Special RMACT Event – When You are Hoping for Another

secondary infertility

secondary-infertility-1Do you have a vision of your family? How many children are in your vision?

Maybe it hasn’t gone the way you’ve hoped and planned.

It may be that you have had to manage either primary infertility, when you do not conceive your first child without help or secondary infertility, when you do not conceive a second (or subsequent) child without help.

Secondary Infertility

Some of us do conceive our first child with no help, no problem, and no hint of a difficulty. And then when we go to have our second or third, nothing happens. Conception is all of a sudden very elusive. And frustrating. And heart breaking in an entirely different way than it is the first time around.

You can’t avoid babies and children because you are the mother of one. You are in that world and yet having the next baby that you want feels out of your grasp, with no one to really understand how you feel.
