Our Response to the Alabama IVF Ruling

What Sets Us Apart

Mental Health Counseling

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health

Many infertility patients find it beneficial to receive professional counseling at some point during their treatment, with or without a partner.

Counseling can be helpful when individuals or couples are at critical decision-making points in their journey, such as whether or not to try IVF, use an egg donor, give up treatment or pursue adoption.

Counseling sessions can help to improve your mental health, lower your stress and anxiety, and offer new, helpful tools to manage the roller coaster of infertility.

Fertility Counseling

Melissa Kelleher, LCSW

Melissa Kelleher, LCSW, works with couples and individuals during their fertility journey, helping them handle loss and disappointments, as well as giving them the tools to make decisions related to their fertility challenges.

Since becoming a licensed social worker in 2006, Melissa has worked with patients to help them better manage stress from a variety of situations, which gives her useful perspective for fertility patients. In particular, her previous work with teens and parents of pediatric patients gives her relevant experience for many PCOS patients.

Melissa has been working with fertility patients at Illume Fertility for many years, primarily with intended parents and donors.
