Hot Fertility Events at RMACT for August – Free and Open to the Public
Upcoming fertility events at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT).
Whether it is summer, fall, winter or spring (sounds like a song, right?), you can count on RMACT to provide more than the essentials in a fertility program. We consider these our essentials; five board certified Reproductive Endocrinologists (fertility specialists plus); a specially trained team of clinicians who specialize in fertility treatment; a group of financial representatives that understand the in’s and out’s of fertility insurance coverage and more; GayParentstoBe website and program; SingleMomstoBe website and program; and other specific programs that ensure that every person has a way to build their family with our Integrated Fertility Wellness team.
In looking back at that list, those are more than essentials and yet, they are just the beginning of what RMACT offers their patients and non-patients alike.
Infertility Support Events at RMACT
Below is a short list of what is happening at RMACT for the next several weeks. Except for the morning drop in support group, all programs listed are free and open to the public. Morning support group is offered only for RMACT patients.
Through August 28 – Free Fertility Testing for Teachers
Testing for AMH is one of the best predictors for future fertiltiy. Come in and get tested, even if you are not ready to build your family. As an educator, you know how helpful it is to know more, rather than less. Learn More

These informal evenings include a light dinner and offer encouragement, support, confidentiality, comradery and often, a good laugh. Ladies Night In is led by two of our staff members who are former fertility patients, Carrie Van Steen and Lisa Rosenthal. Together, Carrie and Lisa have over 30 years in the fertility field and they share their professional, clinical and personal perspectives.

August 26 – Fertile Yoga in RMACT Trumbull office – 115 Technology Drive, Suite C200. Class meets from 5:45-6:45.
As part of RMACT’s Integrated Fertility and Wellness Program, we offer ongoing Fertile Yoga classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays at our fertility treatment centers in Trumbull and Norwalk respectively and at YogaSpace in Bethel, CT on Friday evenings. Spouses, partners, friends and family members are welcome to attend. Fertile Yoga classes are free and open to the public.
The ancient discipline of yoga is an excellent way to reduce the stress and muscle tension that fertility patients often feel. Fertile Yoga also helps to improve flexibility, encourage relaxation, improve the clarity of your thinking and your overall feelings of well-being. Because patients who practice yoga regularly feel less stressed and calmer, they are often able to communicate more clearly with their doctors, make more satisfying decisions, and sustain treatment with a more positive perspective.
August 27 – Fertile Yoga in RMACT Norwalk Office – 761 Main Avenue, Suite 200. Class meets from 5:45-6:45. See above for description of Fertile Yoga.
August 28, Fertile Yoga meets at Yogaspace in Bethel at 78 Stony Hill Road. Class meets from 6-7. See above for description of Fertile Yoga.
Please note. There are no Fertile Yoga classes for the weeks of August 10 & 17 in any location.
