Fertility Events At RMACT This September | Free & Open To The Public
Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT) is committed. We are committed to fertility and infertility information, education and support.
We are committed to having that information for all, for free and at times that makes it easy to attend.
If you, a friend, or a family member needs to learn more about their family building options, RMACT is here to help. Please read through the choices below for the month of September.
As part of RMACT’s Integrated Fertility and Wellness Program, we offer ongoing Fertile Yoga classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays at our fertility treatment centers in Trumbull and Norwalk respectively and at YogaSpace in Bethel, CT on Friday evenings. Spouses, partners, friends and family members are welcome to attend.
Fertile Yoga classes are free and open to the public.
The ancient discipline of yoga is an excellent way to reduce the stress and muscle tension that fertility patients often feel. Fertile Yoga also helps to improve flexibility, encourage relaxation, improve the clarity of your thinking and your overall feelings of well-being. Because patients who practice yoga regularly feel less stressed and calmer, they are often able to communicate more clearly with their doctors, make more satisfying decisions, and sustain treatment with a more positive perspective.

Ladies Night In is led by two of our staff members who are former fertility patients, Carrie Van Steen and Lisa Rosenthal. Together, Carrie and Lisa have over 30 years in the fertility field and they share their professional, clinical and personal perspectives.
About Lisa Rosenthal
Lisa has over thirty years of experience in the fertility field. After her personal infertility journey, she felt dissatisfied with the lack of comprehensive services available to support her. She was determined to help others undergoing fertility treatment. Lisa has been with RMACT for eleven years and serves as Patient Advocate and the Strategic Content Lead.
Lisa is the teacher and founder of Fertile Yoga, a program designed to support men and women on their quest for their families through gentle movement and meditation.
Lisa’s true passion is supporting patients getting into treatment, being able to stay in treatment and staying whole and complete throughout the process. Lisa is also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, which is helpful in her work with fertility patients.
Her experience also includes working with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association and The American Fertility Association (now Path2Parenthood), where she was Educational Coordinator, Conference Director and Assistant Executive Director.
