Facebook Live: RMACT Book Club
We’ve talked about it for years, and now it's a reality! RMACT's first virtual fertility book club is launching with a humorous look at a decidedly unfunny topic: infertility. Order and read “Laughing IS Conceivable: One Woman's Extremely Funny Peek into the Extremely Unfunny World of Infertility” by Lori Shandle-Fox, and then join the author from 7–8 on August 23 live on Facebook.

One of our goals here at RMACT is to underscore a crucial point: that infertility is nothing to be ashamed of. However, we do understand if you want to keep this book club private, which is why we created our own Goodreads page. This will be a safe and comfortable place to share your honest thoughts and feelings on the book.
- There's plenty of time to purchase the book on Amazon for only $3.99, which comes as an e-book that you can download on your tablet or phone.
- To join the RMACT book club if you are not a member of Goodreads yet, you can join with your Facebook account or email through this link. After signing up make sure to join our RMACT group.
- If you are a Goodreads member, you can go ahead and join our group here.

Thursday, August 17th, we held a Facebook live event with Justine Houle, RMACT's Marketing Operations Coordinator. Justine discussed an exciting new event; RMACT's first virtual fertility book club! Please join us Wednesday, August 23rd, on Goodreads.
Hi everyone, my name is Justine and I work at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut I'm here today to share a very exciting announcement with you. RMACT will be hosting our first virtual fertility book club next week, August 23rd. To kick it off the first book that we're going to be talking about is entitled, “Laughing Is Conceivable: One Woman's Extremely Funny Peek into the Extremely Unfunny World of Infertility” by Lori Shandle-Fox.
We chose this book to bring some levity to a not so humorous topic, infertility. Our goal at RMACT is to take the stigma out of infertility. We know there's nothing to be ashamed of, however, we understand you may want to keep this book club private, which is why we created our own Goodreads page.
There's plenty of time to purchase and read this book, it's only $3.99 on Amazon and you can get it as an e-book for your Kindle or your phone, which is really awesome!
The easy way to sign up would be to click on the link that we shared on our RMACT Facebook page. If you don't have Facebook or if you already have Goodreads, you can log on to their website and click on join group, that’s if you're already a Goodreads member. If you're not you'll want to click on the yellow box above and join with your Facebook account or email. After signing up, make sure you look for our RMACT group within Goodreads, if you are not already a member.
Also, I know I mentioned this when we first began but the book club is going to be next Wednesday, August 23rd, between 7:00 and 8:00 and Lori, the author of this book, she's actually going to be joining us for discussion, which we are so honored and thrilled to share with you all. So anyway, we're very excited about this book club, we hope that you'll come on that you'll join us for this very groundbreaking event. You know we want you to add your funny comments, the things that make you laugh as you're trying to conceive. So, remember sign up today, we hope to see you there, we'll share some laughs and have a great afternoon!
