Egg Freezing News for Medical Monday

path-to-fertilityMedical Monday went audio and visual in this taped version of Dr. Mark Leondires from Channel 12. We hear about egg freezing a lot these days, but why? Is it new? Is it different? Why is it such a hot topic now?

Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT)'s Medical Director, Dr. Mark Leondires, was interviewed as an expert on egg freezing. He shares what’s new and explains how egg freezing is pertinent to women as a family building decision. Hear him in this video and please, feel free to post questions. We will have him answer any questions that you may have after hearing him speak. He has enough time in this segment to explain many details that you may not have known.

Did it raise a question or two?

How about I start the conversation off with a few. Then chime in with any you may have.

  1. How old do you have to be to freeze your eggs?
  2. How old is too old?
  3. Are there any health risks to freezing your eggs?
  4. What if you never end up using them?

If you prefer not to post questions here, email me at a private, secure email address. FertileYoga@gmail.com.

Thanks Dr. Leondires for sharing your expertise, information and passion on egg freezing.
