Infertility Support - Words Shared - Hope, Perseverance
Infertility Support from Ladies Night In
A few choice words from Ladies Night In last night.
We went around and shared a word or phrase that embodied what we wanted for ourselves for this year. We all agreed, we would carry this through in our thoughts and actions. We all agreed not to beat ourselves up when we slipped.
We all agreed to do the best that we could with this, one moment at a time.
Our dreams and desires for ourselves this year.
Consistancy of healthy mind and body
A great visual. As you insert the needle, you insert hope. You bring your baby, create your family, bring it all closer to you as you take each step through fertility treatment.
We practiced last night. With our eyes closed. Bringing what we want in this sweet new year, closer.
What would you like for yourself? Can you name it, with a word or a phrase? Once you do, practice it. Repeat it, like a mantra, over and over again. Make it part of your daily to-do list.
Bring it closer and closer. Repeat.
Infertility Heroes Among Us
There were so many infertility heroes in our group last night. Some women who have been coming regularly, some who were first timers. All committed to being honest with each other and themselves.
Two women who have just experienced pregnancy losses. One, came to share her loss and to share her hope and her determination to carry on and try again and have her baby.
There were lots of tears. Thank goodness for tissues.
There was also a lot of laughter.
Exchanging of phone numbers.
Support and help.
I love Ladies Night In. I love the women who show up.
Thank you, as always, to Carrie Van Steen, who does all the work around our group.
And thank you to RMACT and our fertility doctors~ Mark Leondires, Spencer Richlin, Joshua Hurwitz, Cynthia Murdock and Shaun Williams. It starts from the top. Your support and understanding that our patients need this makes it happen.
