An Insiders View to a Cherished Fertility Specialist – Happy Birthday Dr. Cynthia Murdock

Top Fertility Doctors | Infertility Specialist | RMACT Team

Cynthia Murdock Fertility Specialist TesimonialsDr. Cynthia Murdock is a cherished and appreciated member of the Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT) team.

The public knows her as Dr. Murdock, board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist. Her patients know her as their doctor– professional, responsible and caring.

Known as Cindy in our offices, we wanted to give you an insider view as well as to wish her a belated birthday. Several of our team members, who work with her, day in and day out, shared their personal experiences about Dr. Murdock. The Dr. Murdock that they get to see and that they want you to know.

I won’t be naming names here because these comments are representative of how all of the RMACT team feels about Dr. Murdock. I will start with my own observations.

Happy Birthday Dr. Murdock, we’re so glad that you are part of our team, someone we rely on and appreciate.

Dr. Cynthia Murdock | Fertility Specialist Testimonials

Cynthia Mudock | Fertility Specialist Testimonials“She always says yes. There is never a feeling that “this is not my job”. She’s the first one to grab a mop or a sponge and pitch in. A true team player.”

“Dr Murdock is not only a very competent, detail-oriented, respectful and kind professional but she is also a great person. Her opinion is always sincere and well thought through as she pays attention to details and truly cares about her patients. She has a great sense of humor and makes it very comfortable being around her. I had the pleasure of being taken care by her personally as well as the every day pleasure of working with her, and for that I go beyond recommending her as a great doctor and would add how fantastic a person she is.”

“Cindy has jumped in on many occasions since I’ve met her with patients who are overwrought, angry, or have just experienced a loss. Even if it is not her patient, she has always volunteered to be with them, talk through their options, and console them. The most recent incident was a patient (not hers) sobbing and yelling just outside the waiting room because of a truly upsetting personal situation. She heard the patient and rushed in to help. Her sympathetic and calming tone was helpful in getting the patient to an area where other people wouldn’t hear and become upset as well. She then worked with other staff to make the appropriate phone calls and create a back-up plan. Her next choice, to take action, “Let’s walk back and visit your partner in the OR, let’s see how they’re doing” helped the patient take positive action. By pulling the patient’s focus away from herself and onto her partner, Cindy immediately shifted the energy which was a remarkable feat in the heat of that moment."

“I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Murdock for several years now and I consider her not only a work colleague but a personal friend. Having kids the same age has enabled us to bond on a different level and share similar experiences. Cindy makes me laugh every time I work with her because in some levels we both think alike and can read each other's thoughts before we even verbalize them. She genuinely cares about the patients and staff that she works with, and we are lucky to have her on our team.”

“It has been so nice knowing Cindy on a professional as well as a personal level. To me, I like her the more I get to know her. She is a health nut, loves her family and has a quick wit that makes me laugh. As a nurse, I love it when she is the doc for my patients as she is quick to respond and takes pride in really taking the best care possible of them. I’m always amazed by her recollection of their medical as well as their personal history. She remembers the names of their babies and even their OB course. On a personal level, as a woman who has had to be “seen” for multiple reasons, she is my “go to” doctor, not just because she is a woman, but because she just gets it. She relays information in a direct, but respectful way that I always appreciated, whether the news was bad or good. She is truly a hidden gem in our practice.”

“Cindy is a great patient advocate.  She is always very informative and provides the best advice and information to the patient. She gives prompt responses to her patients and to the nursing staff when we need questions answered promptly.  For me personally, Cindy has been helpful in listening and offering creative suggestions when tough situations need addressing. “

Having Dr. Murdock on the RMACT team is part of what makes us a team. She is a member whose thoughtful discourse is listened to, respected and deeply appreciated. And her sense of humor is a wonderful bonus!

Thank you again Dr. Murdock for all that you do– for your patients, for your colleagues and for all of us at RMACT who count you as a friend.

Happy Birthday!
