All 5 Fertility Specialists at RMACT Voted Top Doctors
What a way to start 2016 – all of the Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT) doctors are top fertility doctors! Read below for what that means, in terms of the award that they all just won.
What RMACT Fertility Patients Are Saying
Listening to patients, in Ladies Night In and in Fertile Yoga, and on Ladies Night In Online, we already know how our patients feel about the RMACT doctors. Here are a few things that our patients, (who have not had babies yet) have said about our doctors:
“ I may be in the hospital for Christmas but the end goal is a great reason to do that! My doctor, nurse and patient navigator went above and beyond to get this done this year, and I'm incredibly grateful.”
“Having doctors that truly care is what separates RMACT from the rest! I am blessed to have found them. Happy New Year to all!!”
“What other doctors return my phone calls themselves? Even the hard ones?”
“The doctors at RMACT make sure that I know that they care about my becoming pregnant. It means the world to me to have them on my team.”
“My husband and I would like to thank all the doctors at RMACT, more than just 'doctors' to us for sure!! Thank you!”
Why Keep Going Back to a Fertility Practice?
Our doctors go above and beyond. They are compassionate. They are thoughtful. They are attentive. They make phone calls at eight o’clock at night or on the weekends. They follow up. They care.
It’s not easy to keep coming back to a fertility practice. Fertility treatment cycles include medications, procedures, doctor’s visits, time off from work and often out of pocket expenses. These are not winning arguments to keep coming back. And fertility cycles don’t always work the first time. It’s discouraging, at best.
Our doctors help you keep coming back. Because they know with clinical excellence, carried throughout RMACT, that your dreams are possible. That having a baby is possible.
That’s why they do what they do. To make your dreams come true.
Congratulations to all of the doctors at RMACT. Thank you for your dedication to being top doctors. And top human beings as well. ~ Lisa Rosenthal
All Five Fertility Specialists at RMACT are Castle Connolly “2016 Top Fertility Doctors”
Fairfield County’s Leading Fertility Practice is Recognized by Peers for Their Excellence in Infertility Treatment, Pregnancy Success Rates and Patient Care
The complete team of Board Certified reproductive endocrinologists at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT) has earned the accolade “Top Doctor.” Moffly Media publishes the list of Top Doctors in Fairfield County in the January/February issues of Fairfield Living, Greenwich, New Canaan-Darien, Westport and Stamford magazines. Dr. Mark Leondires, Dr. Spencer Richlin, Dr. Joshua M. Hurwitz, Dr. Cynthia Murdock and Dr. Shaun Williams have each been chosen by their peers for the 2016 list based on their exceptional patient care and stand-out results.
Moffly Media’s list is compiled by the renowned healthcare research firm Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., which conducts a rigorous, peer-reviewed assessment of local doctors by their peers. Not only is it an honor for an entire practice to be selected for this designation, but Dr. Leondires, Dr. Richlin and Dr. Williams were also chosen as a Top Doctor in numerous previous years.
“We are proud that over the past 12 years our fertility team at RMACT has become an integral part of the community,” says Dr. Leondires, Medical Director at RMACT. “We have a connection with our patients, which motivates us to provide the best fertility care possible. That’s what drives us and I believe it is the secret to achieving our impressive pregnancy rates.”
RMACT is a leader in the fertility field with a live birth rate significantly higher for women under 35 with thawed, non-donor cycles; RMACT has a live birth rate of 66% (84/127) as compared to 44% nationally, according to the latest report from the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART). SART, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for gathering, verifying and distributing data from fertility practices nationwide, released its latest report for all U.S.-based in vitro fertilization (IVF) programs. A full list of data for RMACT and other practices is available at www.sart.org. Please note a comparison of clinic success rates may not be meaningful because a patient’s medical characteristics, treatment approaches and entrance criteria for ART may vary from clinic to clinic.
Unlike most fertility practices, RMACT approaches fertility care by treating the whole patient. Before embarking on medically advanced assisted reproductive technologies such as genetic screening and in vitro fertilization (IVF), the RMACT team encourages patients to improve their overall health. Factors such as body mass index (BMI), blood sugar levels and stress or anxiety can affect hormone production and reproductive health. RMACT offers a robust nutrition program, support groups, acupuncture, yoga, emotional support, complimentary classes and counseling – for individuals and couples – through its Integrated Fertility and Wellness Program.
