A Reliable Crystal Ball About Your Fertility Future – RMACT Hosts 2 FREE Infertility Events

AMH - Anti-Mullerian Hormone | Health | Testing | Women's Health

free-amh-fertility-testingI don’t have a crystal ball. At least not one that works with any real accuracy. My best guess is that you don’t have one either that is reliable about predicting the future.

When it comes to your fertility and what to expect in the future if you are not ready to have a baby right now, there is a very accurate crystal ball. One that’s bright and shiny and very accurate.

It’s a test called the anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) test.

It gets better.

We’re offering this test free.

Free Fertility Testing in Connecticut

And since the crystal ball is all ready to go, it also shows us that at the two events in two locations in the upcoming months, you get to hear more about this test from a type of doctor best qualified to explain it. A board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist from a top rated fertility practice in Connecticut, RMACT, will be on hand at each event to explain the nature of this simple blood test. The results are anything but simple. They are capable of predicting your future.

Come join us at the event that best fits your schedule.

Becoming a mom can fit into your schedule and life plan more easily when you understand what your options are– so come find out. ~ Lisa Rosenthal

RMACT to Host Infertility Events with Complimentary Fertility Testing

Fairfield County’s Leading Fertility Clinic Explains Fertility Basics, Offers AMH Test

Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT) is hosting two events for women who want to understand fertility and learn more about their individual reproductive health. Each event will feature a short seminar led by one of RMACT’s board-certified reproductive endocrinologists. Women will then have the opportunity to have a free anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) test; AMH levels are indicative of a woman’s ovarian reserve and her long-term fertility.

RMACT’s Free Fertility Testing and Seminar Events are being held at:

  • Trumbull location, 115 Technology Drive, Suite C200 on Tuesday, October 13 at 5 p.m. with Shaun Williams, MD
  • Stamford location, 1290 Summer Street, Suite 3200 on Thursday, December 3, 5 p.m. with Spencer Richlin, MD

Dr. Spencer Richlin, a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and partner at RMACT, says: “Most people know that age is an important factor for infertility. They may not realize a simple blood test can tell us whether they will have trouble conceiving on their own in the next five, 10, or 15 years. Because of this, AMH tests are extraordinarily empowering for women.”

Women who come to the RMACT event will have their blood drawn and will receive a phone call from an RMACT nurse with results within 10 business days. Since AMH is not affected by estrogen and other hormones, it can be tested at any point in the menstrual cycle and even when patients are on birth control pills.

Testing AMH levels is widely recognized as a reliable indicator of a woman’s reproductive potential; however, it does not give the full picture. For a more thorough understanding of their fertility, patients should schedule an individual consultation at RMACT that includes a complete diagnostic work up. For women, diagnostic testing includes AMH, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and hysterosalpingogram (HSG). For men, who contribute to infertility issues equally as often as women, diagnostic testing includes a semen analysis. Both partners will also discuss their family and medical histories.

"Some of the hardest conversations we have with patients is when they realize their fertility has declined with age," says Dr. Shaun Williams, a fertility specialist at RMACT. "AMH tests enable a woman to be prepared to make informed decisions based on their family goals. Some may choose to start a family sooner, explore egg freezing options, or take comfort in delaying family building."

This event is free and open to the public; however, registering is encouraged. To register or for more information, please visit www.rmact.com/amh.
