Like many advanced medical procedures, infertility treatment can be costly. For example, in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intrauterine insemination (IUI) procedures are among the most widely used and successful treatment options in reproductive medicine. They are, however, very expensive.
To help make sure that our patients can access the high-quality care they need at the most affordable prices possible, Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut offers several important service and payment options to our patients who do not have insurance coverage for IVF, The Egg Donor Program, Surrogacy, Fertility Testing or our IUI infertility treatment.

In addition, RMACT has other options to help couples manage the Costs of Fertility Treatment and Family Building.
Setting up a new patient consultation to diagnose infertility without insurance coverage can be overwhelming and expensive. To make sure our patients can access the high-quality reproductive care they need at the most affordable price, RMA of Connecticut has developed The Fertility Consultation Opportunity Plan.
For patients that do not have insurance coverage for the diagnosis of infertility, RMA of Connecticut has created The Fertility Work-Up Opportunity Plan. This Plan allows patients to pay a flat fee for diagnostic testing that will help determine their individual- ized treatment plan.
This plan is meant to serve couples and individuals who want to move forward with family building using donor eggs and a surrogate (sometimes referred to as a gestational carrier). This option is often used by gay couples who are attempting to have a baby and individuals as well as heterosexual couples who are unable to carry their own biological child.
This plan is designed to help individuals and couples who use a surrogate have more control over the cost of treatment. The Surrogacy Plan Unlimited covers the medical consultation, infectious disease testing semen analysis with sperm cryopreservation if needed for the intended parent(s), it also covers certain services for the donor and gestational carrier. These services are unlimited under this Plan until a live birth occurs.
For many couples treated at RMA of Connecticut, IVF procedures using a donor egg can make it possible to achieve a pregnancy and have a baby. To help make this option available and more affordable for couples who do not have insurance coverage for fertility treatments, RMA of Connecticut offers the Donor Egg Opportunity Plan.
