Dr. Ling Chi

Ling Chi, PhDDr. Ling Chi is the co-director of the IVF Laboratory at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut. She completed medical school and received her medical degree from the Medical School at Tongji University, one of the oldest and most well regarded medical schools in China. After earning her medical degree, Dr. Chi continued with her education at The Centre for Reproductive Medicine, also at Tongji University, where she earned a Ph.D. in reproductive medicine in 1987. Upon completion of her doctoral program, Dr. Chi completed her postdoctoral fellow training at Rockefeller University in New York City.

Beginning in 1995, Dr. Chi joined the IVF Program at Cornell University Medical College. She later joined the IVF Program at NYU Medical School as a clinical embryologist. During her almost eight years at NYU, she participated in a range of clinical research projects and had the opportunity to present her research results at the meeting of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. In 2002, she was named director of the IVF Lab at Dominion Fertility and Endocrinology in Virginia and later served as off-site Lab Director of Dominion Fertility and Endocrinology in 2003.

Dr. Chi is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB), as well as a board member of the Global Association of Reproductive Medicine Physicians and Scientists of Chinese Origin. She helped organize the China National Assisted Reproductive Technology Workshop and has served as Secretary General of the workshop for the past six years. Among her many professional honors, she was recognized by the China National ART Workshop Committee for her efforts to promote the development of assisted reproductive technologies in China.

Dr. Chi is a CAP inspector. She also serves as a senior-level IVF clinical laboratory consultant, offering her expertise to support the development and operation of IVF laboratories in China.
