These statistics represent outcomes for patients who have undergone embryo transfer. Th e percentages are calculated by dividing the number of women who achieved a clinical pregnancy (numerator) by the total number who underwent a transfer (denominator) from July 1, 2005 to December 15, 2007. Please keep in mind that a variety of individual factors may increase or decrease your likelihood of having a baby.
A comparison of clinic success rates may not be meaningful because patient medical characteristics, treatment approaches and entrance criteria for ART may vary from clinic to clinic.

In Vitro Fertilization with ICSI
ICSI (Intracytoplasmic sperm injection) is a procedure in which a single sperm is injected directly into an egg to overcome problems with sperm function or motility. ICSI is also a measure of lab efficiency as patients less than 35 years of age with male factor as the primary diagnosis should have the best outcomes. We included this information to best illustrate the overall quality in our laboratory.

Rates of Triplet Pregnancies
Multiple pregnancies are confirmed by the number of fetal heartbeats on ultrasound. At RMACT we strive to have the lowest triplet rate possible as this represents a complex pregnancy and delivery for both the mother and babies. We are very proud to have excellent pregnancy rates with very low triplet rates. This is accomplished by having an excellent lab and a personal conference with each patient on the day of embryo transfer.
